In-Home Newborn Session // Welcome Baby Gemma // Portland, OR
An in-home newborn session with baby Gemma and her three older siblings.
This was my first photo session with a family of six! Four kids was so much fun, and this family made surprisingly it easy. I also did their maternity photos, and was so delighted to meet such a sweet and fun family. I always love to come back for the newborn photos, it is so magical that now there is another new member that fits right into place. Gemma is so lucky to have three older siblings who love her. And now I want more families with four kids, please!
Rowena Crest Family Session :: Columbia River Gorge :: Portland Family Photographer
A gorgeous spring evening amongst wildflowers and breathtaking views in the Columbia River Gorge.
I love a family that is up for an adventure! I spent a warm, breezy spring evening with one of my favorite families at Rowena Crest. We stayed until the sunset, which made for some magical blue hour photos overlooking the gorge. Fiora had to bundle up in her mamas sweater and my crocheted blanket, but the first sign of that warm sunny glow has me super excited for more outdoor family sessions.
If you have never been to this place, it is breathtakingly beautiful. Wildflowers, epic Columbia Gorge views, and trails that are super kid friendly as well. I have an elopement here in a few months and I can't wait to see how the flowers and foliage change throughout the season.
I also did this sweet girls newborn photos! So fun to see how much she has grown but still has the same magical essence to her. They can be seen here: Fiora's Newborn Session
Welcome Home Olivia / Intimate Newborn Photographer / Portland, OR
An intimate in-home newborn session
I have had the pleasure of photographing this family's maternity and birth photos, so it was amazing to come back and photograph newborn Olivia in her home. Her older brother is such a heart-melter, with his mama's big brown eyes. I love to do these family photo packages because each session just gets better as I get to know and love each family member and their unique personality. I say it all the time, but I am so thankful my clients trust me to document such intimate and fleeting moments for them. See more details about my packages here.

Mama and Baby Session :: Portland, Oregon
Mama and baby at home with big brother
It felt like only a week had slipped by since doing this beautiful Mama's maternity photos. I️ walked into their home to find a precious nearly four month old girl, and the beginnings of a new family of four. There is something so very magical in witnessing how one small person can change so many lives! Yet at the same time seem like they have been here this whole time...
Mt. Tabor Bohemian Airbnb Family Session
Family session inside a hip boho Airbnb in Portland, OR
When Sara asked me to do a family session when they were in town, I was super flattered and also a tad nervous. Sara is a talented photographer herself, so I wanted to make sure I captured her family as beautifully as possible. Luckily, they are beautiful, so that helped. On top of that, they stayed in a gorgeous bohemian Airbnb, filled with modern art, midcentury decor, records, dreamy cacti, and even a huge photo of teeth with braces. When the rain stopped, we took a short stroll through Mt. Tabor. I love meeting fellow photographers, and am humbled that Sara asked me to capture this time in their life.
Margaux's Birth Story :: Portland Water Birth Photographer :: Andaluz Waterbirth Center
A waterbirth at Andaluz Waterbirth Center
I arrived at Andaluz Birth Center just after Amy entered the birth tub. The moment I walked through the door, I felt a calm, strong energy emanating from her, as she confidently labored in the water. We had never met in person until this moment, but it felt like we had known each other for a long time. Her strength and beauty held such a strong force within the room, as we all watched on in awe and amazement.
They have two little boys, and did not find out the sex of their third child. The moment she discovered they now had a little girl was a magical moment to witness. I drove away from this birth with the most amazing natural high, and a sense that for that brief moment in time, everything fell into place just as it should. Welcome to the world Margaux, you are loved by many.
Allie + John :: Pacific Northwest Outdoor Wedding :: Scappoose, OR
An intimate forest wedding on private property in Scappoose OR.
Allie and John, they are CUTE, they are sweet, and they were a joy follow around on their wedding day. They got married on her Dad's houseboat property community in South Scappoose, Oregon. Rumor has it some were questioning Allie's vision when the entire venue was underwater month's prior to the big day. Thankfully she trusted her instincts, because this place was gorgeous. Tall, beautiful weeping trees, the Multnomah Channel, and the most perfect hazy weather on a warm Portland summer day. Basically, the perfect Pacific Northwest wedding. There were so many gorgeous details, stunning rainbow colored macaroons from Farina Bakery, and wonderful friends and family. Allie's Italian host family she lived with even made it! Thank you guys for trusting me to capture this day for you, it was an honor. Also, big thanks to my second shooter, Kat, who especially captured John getting ready at his parents house perfectly. And now I want to go live on a houseboat.

Shauna + Lindsay // Cathedral Park Intimate Wedding // Portland, OR
A small wedding filled with a lot of love, under the St. John’s bridge. Cathedral Park, Portland, OR.
Shauna and Lindsay's wedding day was a photographer's dream. Two beautiful people madly in love, wonderful close friends and family helping (Lindsay's uncle made her dress, and her niece made their wedding cake!). Not to mention her majesty, the St. John's Bridge, in all her glory as the backdrop to their genuine and heartfelt celebration.
I had a good feeling about these two, and we all knew it was meant to be when I showed up to meet them for the first time in my romper, only to find out that all of the women in their wedding party were also wearing rompers (yes!). Thank you to Lindsay and Shauna, and to everyone who helped celebrate these wonderful people, it was truly an honor to be there.
Waiting for baby :: In-Home Maternity Session :: Portland Lifestyle Family Photographer
In-Home Maternity Session
I spent a warm summer evening with this beautiful family, as they were getting very near to meeting the newest member of their family. She was born not long after this session, and I cannot wait to meet her.
