I love coming into families homes and getting a little taste of their daily lives. It was such an honor to capture sweet London at such a fun stage of babyhood. Those toes and inquisitive eyes were so sweet to capture. We even go to take some photos in front of their beautiful apple trees.

A gorgeous spring evening amongst wildflowers and breathtaking views in the Columbia River Gorge.
I love a family that is up for an adventure! I spent a warm, breezy spring evening with one of my favorite families at Rowena Crest. We stayed until the sunset, which made for some magical blue hour photos overlooking the gorge. Fiora had to bundle up in her mamas sweater and my crocheted blanket, but the first sign of that warm sunny glow has me super excited for more outdoor family sessions.
If you have never been to this place, it is breathtakingly beautiful. Wildflowers, epic Columbia Gorge views, and trails that are super kid friendly as well. I have an elopement here in a few months and I can't wait to see how the flowers and foliage change throughout the season.

I have had the pleasure of photographing this family's maternity and birth photos, so it was amazing to come back and photograph newborn Olivia in her home. Her older brother is such a heart-melter, with his mama's big brown eyes. I love to do these family photo packages because each session just gets better as I get to know and love each family member and their unique personality. In-Home Maternity Session
I spent a warm summer evening with this beautiful family, as they were getting very near to meeting the newest member of their family. She was born not long after this session, and I cannot wait to meet her.
Southeast industrial family session :: Portland, Oregon lifestyle photographer
My sister-in-law and her family were visiting Portland and they got to be my guinea pigs for this industrial photo session. I have been dreaming of doing family photos around City Liquidators and their festive flags for a very long time. It was a fun change of pass from my usual more natural environments I love to photograph in. Luci Glenn's "tree" also added a nice touch at the end of their documentary style family session. I had a wonderful Saturday morning hanging out with the Stein family. In true Portland fashion, the rain came in, so we decided to take full advantage of it for some classic Portland weather photos. I actually can't believe this was my first family session where the kids jumped in puddles! Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

That little toddler jumping on the bed just so happens to be the little guy who kickstarted my career. My first photo session was doing maternity photos with Meghann, my friend of 24 (?!) years. Since then we have grown by two more little boys, and a lot less time to have an uninterrupted conversation. My favorite thing about being a family photographer is watching families grow, especially when they are lifelong friends. When I see those first maternity photos now, I realize just how special it was to document the beginnings of this family. xo
