I love coming into families homes and getting a little taste of their daily lives. It was such an honor to capture sweet London at such a fun stage of babyhood. Those toes and inquisitive eyes were so sweet to capture. We even go to take some photos in front of their beautiful apple trees.

An intimate forest wedding on private property in Scappoose OR.
Allie and John, they are CUTE, they are sweet, and they were a joy follow around on their wedding day. They got married on her Dad's houseboat property community in South Scappoose, Oregon. Rumor has it some were questioning Allie's vision when the entire venue was underwater month's prior to the big day. Thankfully she trusted her instincts, because this place was gorgeous. Tall, beautiful weeping trees, the Multnomah Channel, and the most perfect hazy weather on a warm Portland summer day. Basically, the perfect Pacific Northwest wedding. There were so many gorgeous details, stunning rainbow colored macaroons from Farina Bakery, and wonderful friends and family. Allie's Italian host family she lived with even made it! Thank you guys for trusting me to capture this day for you, it was an honor. Also, big thanks to my second shooter, Kat, who especially captured John getting ready at his parents house perfectly. And now I want to go live on a houseboat.

Sunrise Session at Haystack Rock, Cannon Beach
Jenni and I met through a photography group on Facebook, and I instantly had I feeling we would be quick friends. When we were planning out this session, Jenni and I both agrees that we are not morning people, and would never do such a thing as a sunrise session. A few days later I found myself driving to the coast at 4am to meet her and Joel. Turns out it was more than worth it, and on top of gorgeous pink fluffy clouds and glowing light, I made some new friends who I can't wait to see again. Thank you Jenni and Joel, for being so fun, and so beautifully in love.
Zack + Rachel :: Henry Estate Winery :: Umpqua, Oregon
Zack and Rachel got married on the most beautiful Autumn day, surrounded by such a fun and loving group of family and friends. I photographed the wedding of Zack's aunt last year, and it was super special to be around familiar faces again. This couple is so madly in love that I barley had to direct them at all during their sunset portraits, they were just happy to share a special quiet moment together. We just stood back and excitedly captured the intimate connection that they share, giddy to get home and edit these photos full of such pure, raw emotion. Thank you Zack and Rachel for being so easy and fun to work with. And a special thanks to Zack's mom, Gwen, for hiring me to capture her son's wedding day. Hail, downpours, a slight drizzle during the ceremony, and a double rainbow made for an eventful and dramatic display against the beautiful gorge backdrop. One thing that did remain constant throughout the day was the undeniable admiration and love between this sweet couple.
Also I have to note that the bride's mom MADE her gorgeous dress.

When Todd contacted me a few days before Valentine's day and asked for a gift certificate for his wife, I knew this was a sweet family that I could not wait to meet. I walked into their home and felt the warmth and love surrounding them and their precious Pearl. I walked away feeling so grateful that I get such a unique glimpse into people's lives, and that I get to document the beauty that I witness for them.
